The Local Church

I found what I was looking for

When I was 14, I met a classmate in my high school who met with the local church. She asked me if I wanted to go to a meeting. I told her that I never wanted to commit to any church because I didn't want to be wrong and have to go to hell for choosing the wrong place to worship. I told her that I would rather believe in God on my own.

But after observing her for a year and a half, I noticed something real in her that made me long for Christ. Eventually, I asked her if I could come to a meeting with her. When I went to that meeting, I found that the other members had that same genuine and attractive loving expression of Christ.

Here, I have enjoyed the rich speaking concerning Christ and I found what I was looking for. I've been meeting with the local church ever since.
